Lift Your Stein

Happy New Year! 2014 is off to a cracking start! I hope you enjoy the latest in my series of CD tracks. There are a few of Elvis numbers (as usual!) 'Jailhouse Rock', 'Wooden Heart', and Hound Dog'. The Everly Brothers are recreated with 'Bird Dog', and 'How can I meet him (her)'. There are a couple of VERY old classics, the irrepresible 'Coconut Woman' as made famous by Harry Belafonte, and that incredible foot tapping, impossible to not sing along to, song from the film 'The Student Prince' starring Mario Lanza, yes, please lift your steins for 'The Drinking Song'. There are also (dare I say it) two modern songs (I know, shock, horror, probe) 'Liquid Lunch' from Caro Emerald, which I only had to hear once and knew I had to cover it! Also, the anthem from Katy Perry, 'Roar', which is used so many times as a backing track during football features. Hope you enjoy this interesting mixture of eras!
