This album was obviously inspired by the wonderful Troggs song 'Wild thing' which is also the title track of the collection. There is also a Queen song 'You're my best friend', which is dedicated to my best friend Lesley Paschalaki who I was at school with, at Hulme Grammar School in Oldham. Thanks to the internet and Facebook we are in touch constantly, even though she now lives in Greece. Lesley dedicated this song to me when we were at school in the summer holidays, and I can always remember waiting patiently for the dedication in our back garden in Ashton-Under-Lyne. Now I am repaying the favour (finally) and recorded my own version of this song for Lesley, BBF! We have another Queen song 'Radio Ga Ga' which is one of my husband Mick's favourites. I recorded 'Jerusalem' to remind us of our great days at test matches at Old Trafford watching the England cricket team. Great to record the hit from T Rex '20th Century boy' as it has popped up in an Argos advert. This music needs to be kept alive. I know my brother Eddy will enjoy the Kinks 'Waterloo sunset' and I managed to sqeeze in a Dave Edmunds number 'A1 on the jukebox' Enjoy these and the other tracks.
To play the tracks, use the links to the tracks at the bottom of the page also, so you can just click the track names one by one to listen to the songs. I had given up on the widgets but the kind lady Alexandra at Elfsight allowed me to have some more widgets for free so the result is the fabulous jukebox below. They were also brilliant with their customer service, thank you very much. I would also like to thank the brilliant Leo from Muga Beats whose website I stumbled upon, which helped me create the accompaniment to some of the songs. A great service and wonderful customer service. I would also like to thank Karaoke version who I get a lot of my accompaniment tracks from. Thank you.
