Taxi to the terminal zone

The first track is a re-recording of a song I have done previously 'Promised Land' but this is the Dave Edmunds version cover. I always wanted to call an album 'Taxi to the terminal zone' as it is a line in this particular song. There are a few more Dave Edmunds/Rockpile songs, namely 'Warmed over kisses', 'Here comes the weekend', 'If sugar was as sweet as you', 'You ain't nothing but fine' and 'Gonna move'. I did a drawing of a Cap232 G-XCAP, a commission for Diana Britten, ordered by James Hepnar, and this inspired me to record 'Diana'. There are two more Elvis covers 'Thanks to the rolling sea' and 'Fort Lauderdale chamber of commerce'. There are two slow tracks recorded by numerous people over the years, and I took them straight from the Windsor Davies and Don Estelle stable, 'I don't want to set the world on fire', and 'No one will ever know'. 'Las Vegas' was recorded originally by Tony Christie, and finally, 'Alone again naturally' from the 70s by Gilbert O'Sullivan was recorded especially for Lesley Paschalaki my best friend since school days.

To play the tracks, use the links to the tracks at the bottom of the page also, so you can just click the track names one by one to listen to the songs. I had given up on the widgets but the kind lady Alexandra at Elfsight allowed me to have some more widgets for free so the result is the fabulous jukebox below. They were also brilliant with their customer service, thank you very much. I would also like to thank the brilliant Leo from Muga Beats whose website I stumbled upon, which helped me create the accompaniment to some of the songs. A great service and wonderful customer service. Thank you.
