Steel Claw

The last CD production of 2020 amidst Covid madness. I have done covers of songs by my favourite Dave Edmunds, 'Steel Claw', 'Rules of the game', and 'You'll never get me up', the latter being ironic as it is about not wanting to go up in an aeroplane (and you all know I always want to do that!) There are two tracks from the past done by Tony Christie which I hope I have reproduced well, 'So deep is the night' (an arrangement of Chopin's Etude No. 3 in E Major, Op. 10, No. 3) and 'I did what I did for Maria'. My biggest challenge was recording the original version of 'Son of my Father' which was in German. Interestingly, in 'Nachts scheint die sonne', the German words bear no resemblance to the track we know in England by Chicory Tip. I really liked 'The garden of England' originally performed by Gerry Rafferty. Hope you enjoy the tracks!
