Lockdown Rock

Lockdown Rock was inspired by the Covid madness of 2020. Being trapped indoors most of the time helped me record these mostly Dave Edmunds/Rockpile covers. They include 'Now and always,' 'The watch on my wrist', 'I ain't never,' and 'Heart'. I also did the weird lament 'Hell of a pain' which is a strange eerie song, but sums up the mood of madness during the Covid crisis. I was very happy to record a cover of 'Revenue Man' which I have always had fun with. Paul Simon's 'Me and Julio down by the schoolyard' was a great bouncy track to record. Hope you enjoy the tracks!

To play the tracks, use the links to the tracks at the bottom of the page also, so you can just click the track names one by one to listen to the songs. I had given up on the widgets but the kind lady Alexandra at Elfsight allowed me to have some more widgets for free so the result is the fabulous jukebox below. They were also brilliant with their customer service, thank you very much. I would also like to thank the brilliant Leo from Muga Beats whose website I stumbled upon, which helped me create the accompaniment to some of the songs. A great service and wonderful customer service. Thank you.
