Hanging on life No 9

Hanging on life No 9 was insprised by a line from the Cat crept in oprginally by Mud, which I have already recorded on a previous album. There is one cover of a little known Mud song, '43792 (I'm bustin' you)', and a cover of a cover 'Tallahassee Lassie'. The usual Elvis songs are included, always like to get one into my albums! These are' A little less conversation' and 'King Creole' There is a cover of a Ray Stevens song 'Bridget the midget' which brings back loads of memories for me listening to Radio Luxembourg under the bedclothes late at night waiting for this song to come on. It was number 1 for weeks and I loved it to bits. There is a Eurovision song contest winner 'Mskaing your mind up' and a cover from another Eurovision winning group Abba 'Angeleyes'. I had prepared this album and most of the songs before I fell ill wilth an unprovoked pulmonary embolism, obviously I had no idea it was going to happen and that I would end up in an ambulance (for the first time ever in my life) so the title of the album is even more poignant. I am still recovering at the time of putting this page on the website and have another two months of letting Mother Nature do her job. Enjoy these and the other tracks.
