Daddy Cool
The songs here I would not have recorded because I could not change the words from male based songs to female based ones, so this time, I did not bother! Hope that you don't mind that it sounds daft that I am singing these songs! The evocative 'Deborah' a wonderful Dave Edmunds song brings back many happy memories, and the lovely 'Sheila' is another great golden oldie. There are two Elvis religious songs which I think will make you tap your feet, and the highly catchy title track 'Daddy Cool' will have you rocking I am sure! Girls talk' is particularly poignant, as I could not recreate it when we did our live performances on my Birthday party, but yet it took two takes to get this right here! The front and back covers are photographs taken by my brother Eddy, when we flew into Gamston one day for a flying visit! Enjoy!
