Ad Astra

This is the album, which celebrates my first solo flight as a pilot in Mac the Blac the lovely Cessna plane, in which I am learning to fly. My first flight was January 4th 2011 (see my Pilot's Log), and the excitement of that is reflected in the design of the cover for this album. Ad astra is latin for 'To the stars'. I would like to thank Charlie from Quality Backing Tracks for providing me with the last two backing tracks 'Singin' in the rain' and 'Girls, girls, girls'. I love the 'Girls, girls, girls' track, originally by Sailor, but I had such fun recording this. I also have a big fondness for Eden Kane's 'Forget me not', Jerry Keller's 'Here comes summer' and the usual Elvis offerings, of 'I want to be free', and 'Angel'. Please enjoy my celebration of reaching the stars!

To play the tracks, use the virtual CD player on the right hand side of the track list. The tracks appear as they do on the CD (below left), but in the virtual player they are in alphabetical order. Just select the one you want to hear and use the buttons as you would for a normal CD player! For those of you using an iPhone, or other devices which does not support Flash, click the track names one by one to listen to the songs (as requested by my brother Eddy!).
